We like to think of ourselves as more than just developers. We're a friendly group of around 500 people with plenty of casual and hardcore gamers, tech heads and creative masterminds, organized planners, and nerdy game fans who make this industry so fun. And we’re all together on a mission to open windows to amazing worlds. We've been making games for over 30 years, crafting and publishing unique experiences that have put us on the path to becoming a leader in Online Worlds.
We've got five studios spread across Norway, the USA, Portugal, Sweden, and Romania, and we're always on the lookout for more dedicated people to join our ranks.
We're all about creating a relaxed and equal workspace where flat communication and our agile structure are key to delivering world-class games.
So, if you're ready to make your mark, we're ready to welcome you!
Your Mission in Funcom
Do you love playing games and spotting the little details others might miss? Our Bucharest Studio is looking for a Junior Game Tester to join the team and help ensure our games are polished, fun, and bug-free. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the game development process and learn the full testing lifecycle of a game project.
You’ll collaborate closely with developers, QA professionals, and the production team to evaluate game features, identify and reproduce bugs, and help deliver a high-quality experience to our players.
How you can have an impact in your position:
- Test gameplay features and content across platforms to verify functionality and performance.
- Execute test cases accurately and efficiently within specified deadlines.
- Identify, isolate, and document bugs or design issues using internal tracking tools.
- Work with QA, development, and production teams to support timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Provide clear and actionable feedback to help improve the project.
- Communicate test results and escalate critical issues to the appropriate stakeholders
We are looking for you to have:
- Around 1 year of experience in game testing.
- A strong passion for video games and curiosity about how they’re built.
- A sharp eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills - both written and spoken, with a good command of English.
- A positive, collaborative mindset and the ability to work well with others.
- Some experience with bug tracking tools (like JIRA, TestRail, etc.) is a plus, but not a must.
We evaluate candidates on an ongoing basis and recommend candidates to apply as soon as possible!
Please apply in English.
