Your Mission in Funcom
We are seeking a Telemetry QA Tester to ensure the accuracy and reliability of telemetry data across multiple platforms. You will be responsible for testing and validating telemetry events, identifying and reporting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve data collection and analysis.
Key responsibilities:
- Test and validate telemetry events using manual and automated methods.
- Monitor data flow using tools like Splunk, Kibana, Grafana, and Google Big Query.
- Identify, document, and report telemetry-related bugs in Jira with clear details.
- Analyze dashboards and reports to detect anomalies or discrepancies in data.
- Use SQL (or similar query languages) to verify telemetry data, extract relevant insights, and debug inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with Analytics, Development, and QA teams to enhance telemetry implementation.
- Maintain documentation, test cases, and best practices for telemetry validation.
We are looking for you to have:
- 1+ year of experience in telemetry testing, data analytics, or QA related to telemetry.
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Kibana, Grafana).
- SQL proficiency (or experience with other query languages) to extract and validate telemetry data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to document and communicate findings effectively.
- Experience with Jira or similar bug-tracking tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in English.
- Proactive mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
