Now, our Live Ops team in Bucharest, Romania, needs a Junior Game Data Analyst to help build and develop data analytics processes in our dev teams.

Your Mission in Funcom
At Funcom, we are continuously looking to improve our games and the content we provide to our players. As part of that improvement, we are growing our Data Analytics team for Dune: Awakening and future Funcom games!
As a Junior Game Data Analyst in Funcom, you will be trusted to gather and manipulate data, as well as generate reports and dashboards to support Senior Analysts in communicating insights to the Dev teams and Senior Management for them to take informed decisions about the projects.
How you can have an impact in your position:
- Use and design standard KPIs, provide analysis reports for essential operation milestones to support Operation teams.
- Support Senior Analysts in game telemetry production projects.
- Check data and track KPIs on a regular basis to ensure the quality of the pipelines used and of the data shared with stakeholders.
- Support Senior Analysts in improving the data platform and its sub-systems (data collecting, data analyzing, data service, reports generating, data visualization as well as optimization of all mentioned services and systems).
- Providing specific analysis reports (correlation analysis, retention analysis, user profiling, competitive analysis, corporation analysis) on demand in collaboration with Senior Analysts.
- Have an active role in the awareness and training of data and tools in Funcom.
We are looking for you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operational Research, Business Intelligence, or any other relevant field).
- At least 1 years’ working experience as a Data Analyst.
- Basic knowledge of SQL (or a SQL-like language).
- Familiarity with data analysis techniques, languages, software, and systems (R, Python).
- Experience with an analytics visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
- Knowledge of or interest in performing basic data modeling, analysis, and visualizations.
- An inquisitive mind and a thirst to learn with experienced professionals.
- Passion for persistent online games.
