Funcom is now looking for an enthusiastic UI Designer to join a highly motivated team of talented developers and industry veterans.

You will be actively involved in all areas of the UI design process from the initial design through to production and implementation.

Requirements for the position:

  • Proven UI Experience
  • Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Strong Iconography/ Logo skills
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Strong visual designs
  • Ability to create wireframes

Beneficial knowledge:

  • Unreal Engine knowledge

  • To have good written and oral communication skills in English
  • To have a passion for games
  • To relocate to Oslo
  • To be able to handle multiple tasks
  • To be a team player who can work closely with all the professions in the team

Senior Graphics/ Rendering Programmer Tech department 2015-12-01 Oslo

Funcom is looking for an experienced rendering programmer with a keen interest in visual effects and deep knowledge of modern rendering approaches, to work on our upcoming games.

As part of our core technology team, you will design, write and optimize rendering features, working closely with the artists to help us create visually compelling experiences.

You will also be heavily involved in deciding how best to drive our visuals forward.

Requirements for the position:

  • Excellent knowledge of modern rendering algorithms and techniques.
  • Excellent 3d Math skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working on recent graphics APIs, such as d3d12/11/libGNM/d3d for xbox.
  • Strong c++ and software design skills, including experience working in multithreaded and memory-constrained environments.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Contributed significant rendering technology on one or more released titles.
  • A passion for visuals.

Beneficial knowledge:

  • Experience working with Unreal Engine 4
